Brothers contribute to the mission in a distinctive way.
They can be present in different milieux in ways
that are not possible for ordained Marists.

They can often relate to laity in circumstances and
in a manner that puts lay people at ease.

This extends the reach of Marist ministry.

from the Conference of Major Superiors of Men

We urge all of our member communities to set aside Tuesday, May 1, 2018 to celebrate the gifts, charism and rich history that is the vocation of the Religious Brother in the Church in the second annual Religious Brothers Day.

Please visit www.yearforconsecratedlife.com to download prayers, prayers services and reflections for use this coming May.

We have a unique opportunity to continue spreading the "good news" of the Mission and Identity of the Religious Brother in the Church today.

All Marists profess
the same vows
according to the
Constitutions
and share
one common call.

We are all brothers
with differing
ministerial roles.
