Notre Dame Make Something Day makes a differenceNotre Dame Comes Together to Make a Difference

On Friday, October 5, 2012, all three divisions of Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy came together on the Pontiac campus to "make a difference."

One thousand and eighty (1,080) students from JK-12 and staff members worked on projects which were later donated to local charities and other sites who serve people in need.

Notre Dame Make Something Day makes a difference"Make Something Day," which is what the school called this day's event, was an opportunity for students and staff to focus on the "Christian Persons" aspect of the school mission. The goal was to make something useful for people in need in the Pontiac and Oakland County areas and in other parts of the world.

The day began with Mass in the gym followed by a breakfast snack. Students then got busy with their projects. The day ended with a picnic lunch outside provided by the Parents Club. While the purpose of the day was to provide useful items to people in need, students and staff alike enjoyed the event.
