Day 6: Novena Prayer to St. Peter Chanel
To encourage Marists to reflect deeply on the mystery of their own vocation and the call to personal holiness.
Lord, St. Peter Chanel did not lose heart during his years of ministry in Futuna. May his example inspire us to remain faithful to our vocation.
Loving God, you inspired Jean-Claude Colin to live a life faithful to the Gospel and in the spirit of Mary. If it is your will that he be honored as a saint to the glory of your name, please show us the favor he enjoys in your sight by granting us an increase of vocation through his intercession. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
